Capturing the essence of a product through photography is an art in itself. For this project, we wanted to highlight the beauty of the sweets while giving the box lid a rich, luxurious feel. The final image you see is actually a blend of two separate shots meticulously combined during post-production. Let’s walk through the creative process that brought this vision to life.
We started with two distinct images — one focusing on the neatly arranged sweets in the box and the other showcasing the intricate design on the lid. This allowed us to control the lighting for each element separately, ensuring that every detail was perfectly captured.
The Sweet Box: The main image emphasized the texture and color of the sweets. We arranged them carefully, but later refined their shape and spacing in post-production.
The Lid Design: To make the lid stand out, we shot it with lighting that highlighted the gold accents and intricate patterns.

Perfecting the Sweets and Their Arrangement
Once we had our base images, we edited the sweets to ensure they were all the same size and perfectly aligned. The gaps between each sweet were equalized, creating a sense of precision and order that draws the eye.
Enhancing the Lid and Color Harmonization
To make the lid truly shine, we enhanced the gold elements, adding richness and depth. The human figurines on the side were also adjusted — their skin tone was changed from white to brown to better represent the diversity and vibrancy of Indian culture.
Next, we changed the white edges of the box to match the red tones of the lid, creating a seamless transition into the gradient backdrop. This small but impactful adjustment directed all the attention towards the sweets themselves, making them the undeniable star of the image.
